Visible on occasion on the beach behind Leos (or this Vertical Pier more recently), although extremely dependant on the amount of sand on the beach and the tides. I spotted these tree trunks in January although I know theres a lot more under there if conditions are right.
Smart. Probably the best thing I’ve heard said in conjunction with Leos.
I got tops in Leos once.
Leos RIP……….
On 11- 02 – 2013 – very cold south easterly wind blowing, rough sea, and low tide. spotted approx over 100 square metres of petrified forest showing above the sands. some of these old trees looked like silver birch, as they still had the silver bark on them, really interesting !
I remember seeing this many years ago as a child. Fascinating and the images have stuck with me for many years.
