I don’t think the 1963 structure will ever be remembered for being a beautiful lost building, but i’m sure lots of people will have fond memories of their time there.
Shame really. Some of the North’s finest minds were shaped there so I’m told.
The building was well past it’s ‘sell by date’, but it did get a mention in Pevsner’s fine 1966 book “Yorkshire: The North Riding”.
