A final sculpture on the Marton West Beck Trail which runs from Brass Castle Lane.
The horseman stands where the beck ends in Albert Park.
The silhouettes date from 2000, were designed by Possibility Saltburn and cut by Creative Cutting Services.

Hi, I created the illustration that was turned into this sculpture which I did for Possibility Ltd. quite a few years ago when I lived in Saltburn. I did a series of them, and this is the only one I’ve seen in the flesh! As far as my memory can recall, I did one of a witch, and one of a monk, and possibly another one. I would love to know where the others are placed!. I now live in Brighton as a freelance illustrator, and very proud of having some of my illustrations as sculptures in Middlesbrough. Great site by the way!!

My dog never goes past the monk silhouette sculpture without a long stand-off, involving much barking and growling.
